Fall Reset
Summer is officially over, and after back-to-school, busier schedules and recent travel, I’ve been feeling out of whack—my sleep is off, my stress levels are higher and, not surprisingly, my digestion is acting up again.
This week’s edit is about getting back to feeling my best inside and out. Nothing extreme—just a reset, a little motivation and a mix of self-discipline and self-care to feel more energized, clear-headed and back on track.
Andrew Huberman’s new book, Protocols, arrived in the mail his weekend and feels especially timely for this Fall Reset because so much of it comes back to the basics: better sleep, consistent movement, managing stress, getting outside, focusing better and creating routines I can actually stick with.
Protocols is a practical guide to building science-backed habits around those everyday foundations. I’m committing to reading a few pages every night before bed. Reading had fallen out of my nighttime routine, so I’m excited to bring it back with a book that’s relevant to what I’m working on right now.
BBL + Moxi at Artisan Beaute Westside
Yesterday, I did BBL + Moxi at Artisan Beauté Westside. Despite wearing SPF 50 and a hat all summer, I still ended up with plenty of sun spots + hyperpigmentation. I recently posted a video using my favorite concealer from The Well List to cover some spots and a breakout on my forehead, and seeing everything up close was the motivation I needed to book an appointment stat.
Good skincare always comes first for me, and I use laser treatments to enhance what I’m already doing at home. Fall (pre-holidays) and winter (post-holidays) are officially laser season. I like to do a BBL + Moxi combo 2-3x a year to target discoloration, improve texture and support collagen production. The downtime is minimal. My spots get darker for a few days and then gradually flake off, leaving my skin looking smoother, brighter and more even.
At some point later, I’d love to try CO2, but I’m not ready for that kind of downtime with young kids. BBL + Moxi is effective enough for what I’m trying to address right now, especially when paired with a consistent skincare routine.
Leah is my go-to for lasers, scar treatments, microneedling, laser hair removal + more. For Botox, I see Aimee Morgan in Buckhead and Mary Popp at their Westside location.Mention my name or “Jess Be Well” when booking your first visit to receive 15% off.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Wellhaus Club
It’s finally here at Wellhaus Club, and I’m so excited to book a session soon. If you’ve been following along, you know Wellhaus is a non-negotiable part of my wellness and recovery routine. I regularly use the infrared sauna and cold plunge, along with compression, IV hydration therapy, red light therapy, B-12 injections, NAD+ and more.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves breathing concentrated oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, which increases the amount of oxygen that can circulate through the bloodstream. It’s used to support the body’s natural recovery and repair processes.
Wellhaus is currently offering limited-time presale packages: 5 sessions + 1 free for $499 or 10 sessions + 2 free for $899. Appointment booking should open within the next week or two. I’m planning to book a session as soon as it does and will report back on my experience.

On Monday morning, after a weekend of travel, I started Kroma’s 5-Day Reset again. My digestion was off, and the transition into fall felt like the perfect time to do it. I stocked up during their summer BOGO sale and got two, so I’ll probably save the second one for after the holidays.
Unlike a restrictive juice cleanse, each day includes 100g+ of protein through broths, elixirs, smoothies and superfood meals. I also add fresh fruit, cooked veggies and extra protein to support my active lifestyle. For me, it’s a simple reset that usually leaves me feeling less bloated, more energized and back to priorotizing whole foods again.
Dr. Stohlberg Rest + Digest Tea
Another way I'm supporting my digestion. I’ve fallen in love with this tea, although it’s definitely not cheap. It was created by acupuncturist Dr. Natazia zu Stolberg after dealing with chronic bloating herself. The formula is simple: organic coriander and cumin.
It’s designed to support digestion by helping stimulate digestive enzymes and bile flow, which may help with post-meal bloating and gas. I’ve been sipping it after dinner and alternating it with my magnesium tea or a healthier hot cocoa, depending on what I’m in the mood for that night.
Lifepro Vibration Plate Machine
My vibration plate is another tool I’ve brought back into my routine lately, especially on mornings when I don’t have time for a full workout. I forgot how much I love standing on it for a few minutes.
Whole-body vibration causes your muscles to contract rapidly and may help support circulation and muscle activation. I also personally find it helpful for getting things moving when my digestion feels sluggish. It's an easy way to add a little movement to my morning without needing to carve out extra time.
This fall, I’m committing to running outside 3x a week while getting my morning sunlight. It was hard to fit in longer runs during the Atlanta heat, so I’m ready to get back on the Beltline and take advantage of cooler weather. I love running outside for the cardio and mental clarity, and getting morning light at the same time helps support my circadian rhythm. If running isn’t your thing, a morning walk gives you many of the same benefits.
The Hoka Clifton 11 is both my husband’s and my favorite running shoe. It’s super cushioned with a soft, smooth ride that helps absorb impact, which is one reason I’ve loved it for longer runs over the past few years. I personally haven’t had any issues or injuries running in them, although the right shoe is different for everyone.
I’m wearing the black/white colorway now, and I’m eyeing this new fall color to wear with my brown and navy sets. I’ve also had the all-black pair of Hokas, which I love with all-black workout gear. I typically replace mine every six months based on mileage, or once the tread starts to wear down.
Skylight Calendar 2 & NEW Buddy
Our Skylight Calendar 2 has honestly been one of the best tools for keeping our family sane and organized when school, sports, chores and meal prep all collide in the same week.Everything lives on one shared touchscreen, so nothing falls through the cracks and the kids can actually see what’s coming.
We finally set up chores and tasks for the kids, which has made mornings feel a lot smoother. They can see exactly what they need to do, earn stars throughout the week and work toward a small reward, which has made getting out the door on time feel much less chaotic.
Skylight also recently launched the Buddy. If you have younger kids, definitely check it out. The Buddy seems especially helpful for little ones, like my three-year-old daughter, who benefit from a more visual, simplified way to follow routines and responsibilities.
Sleep is usually the first thing to fall apart when life gets busy. Mine hasn’t been great this month, and I’ve gotten sloppy about remembering to wear my Oura at night.
I’m recommitting to wearing it every night and aiming for 8+ hours—especially with more travel across time zones coming up. I can always feel when my sleep is off, but having the data keeps me accountable and motivates me to actually do something about it. The new Oura Ring 5 is even better—40% smaller than my Ring 4, with redesigned sensors for even more precise tracking of sleep, activity, readiness, stress, heart health and women’s health.
Dream Recovery Mouth Tape Plus+
Use code JESSBEWELL for 15% off Dream Recovery.
I also fell off mouth taping over the summer, and I’m getting back into it. I personally better sleep on the nights I use it. I recently switched from the brand I featured in my Father’s Day edit, and Dream Mouth Tape Plus+ is the one I prefer now.
This tape is made with organic bamboo silk and a medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive, designed to encourage nasal breathing overnight. The Plus+ version is also infused with Collawise collagen, CoQ10, vitamins B5, B7 + E, and aloe vera extract for added skincare benefits while you sleep.
Use code JESSBEWELL5 to get your first month of MWH for $5.
MWH is one of my go-to resources for both mindful movement and meditation, and I’ve featured it before. In this phase of life, I rarely make time for an in-person yoga class, so I love having guided meditations and low-impact workouts I can do quickly and conveniently at home.
Meditation and journaling definitely slipped from my routine, and I feel it in my mood, my patience and how the whole day goes. Rushed mornings and evenings make it harder to carve out dedicated time, so I’ve stopped trying to make it perfect.
Right now, meditation might look like a few quiet minutes in the shower, sitting in my parked car, during a sauna session, in front of my red light at night or even a moving meditation on a run or walk. Journaling is less about writing pages of thoughts and more about a quick brain dump or jotting down a to-do list before bed.
