5. Sports Research Organic MCT Oil

I often add a tablespoon of Sports Research MCT Oil (a concentrated source of medium-chain triglycerides from coconut oil) to my morning coffee, matcha, or smoothies. It provides clean, sustained energy to help start the day.

While I don’t love that it comes in a plastic bottle, it’s specifically designed to safely store the oil, and they currently don’t offer a glass option.

6. Thorne Basic B-Complex

I take this daily B-complex for cellular energy production and to help my body convert food into fuel. I love this one because it uses active, methylated forms of B12 + 5-MTHF that are easy to absorb, it’s clean, and not overly stimulating.

7. CON-CRET Creatine HCl, raw unflavored

My go-to creatine is this highly soluble form of creatine designed to support strength, performance, and cellular energy without the cramping or bloating some people experience with other creatine.

I take 3 mg daily, whether I work out or not. It helps support both physical and cognitive performance by aiding ATP production — the body’s primary energy source. It easily fits into my morning routine with no taste or stomach discomfort, and blends seamlessly into smoothies and other cold beverages.


 

8. Ritual Omega-3 DHA & EPA

Ritual Omega-3 is a newer addition to my morning supplement stack that’s here to stay. After in-depth lab work through Function Health, I learned that while my basic cholesterol looked good, my omega-3 levels were low and my omega-6 to omega-3 ratio suggested more inflammatory stress than ideal long term. Advanced lipid testing also showed LDL particle markers out of range that did not appear on standard panels.

As a preventative step for inflammatory balance, heart health, and brain support, I added this omega-3 with DHA + EPA sourced from microalgae. It’s easy to take, goes down smoothly, and has no fishy aftertaste.
